Bah… I feel like I might be getting sick and sadly cause of stress. I hate myself right now. I’m usually very good at dealing with stress but right now, I’m just not capable. I’m tired of way too much crap and far too much to take care of that I don’t want to take care of. Bah… enough complaining.
I’m jealous. Canada is getting a farewell to Roswell labor day weekend marathon. By then, Remi will be back in Vancouver and could watch it if he wanted… I wonder if my parents get the Space Channel since they have digital cable with it’s 600 channels. I’m sure they do… they get Much Music. I’m so jealous.
Wait… I thought I was going to stop complaining and here I am doing just that once again.
Bah. I suck.

Oh… I guess I should post that I’ve started up my photos site. Calling it rock star cause I can’t think of any other name. Took down the stars section of this site too since everything is up there now. I added some new photos too… and once I get my hands on the Amelie DVD, expect a redesign of this domain. Yeah…

Ah… it was so nice to see Phantom Planet again the other night (see photos over at rock star). Unfortunately, it was so freaking hot. When they did All Over Again at the end, I about died. I couldn’t take it anymore. Usually that’s my song. I go nuts and at first I was, but then I got dizzy and thought I was going to pass out so I had to try and cool down. Once I got water and went outside, I was much better.
Back to the show… it was an interesting crowd. There were a lot of new faces and the regulars I always see. Talked with some new girls who had never seen the boys before and they were cracking me up cause they were so excited and kept freaking out when they saw any of the guys going in and out of the Troub while we waited in line. I was not in the mood for listening to The Like. This is now the 3rd time I’ve seen them. They are definitely getting better, I’ll say that much, but they were putting me to sleep. Then the boys finally came out and rocked.
The crowd wasn’t as hyped as I had hoped or like the last time at the Roxy, but Eddie and I made up for that and some groovy gals in front of us were rocking out to. They definitely sounded tight and most of the crowd was singing along and enjoying the show. They did 3 new songs, 2 of which I’d already heard from past shows, and they were all great. It’s nice to hear new stuff and even better was when they offered to do something from their first album and did Recently Distressed. During All Over Again, Alex told everyone to jump up and down including those in the balcony. Afterwards, I just wanted to go to sleep so I wasn’t that up for staying there long… once outside, I got Eddie to go up to Kirsten Dunst to get a photo taken with her since he really wanted to but kept getting all chicken. She was extremely sweet and accomodating to everyone who went up to her. She seems like a really nice person.
And that was it. Looking forward to their next tour. They are supposed to do a club tour before they go on tour with Elvis Costello and should be back to do some shows in last August.
Set list: Shadows / In Our Darkest Hour / Always On My Mind / The Happy Ending / Sleep Machine Intro – Recently Distressed / Lonely Day / The Guest / Badd Business / Nobody’s Fault / Wishing Well / California / By The Bed / Something is Wrong / All Over Again

Got tickets for Coldplay’s Vegas show in September. So yeah… it’s on.
Was not that successful with tickets for the Greek. I could have got some but the seats weren’t that great. So I think I’m going to skip that since I’ll be heading to Vegas to see them and I’ll be seeing them twice next month too and all in small venues. It would be too depressing to see them in crappy seats. I’m very spoiled when it comes to seeing bands I love. I just don’t like big venues and if I can’t be in fairly decent seats, I just know I won’t enjoy myself as much.
Super dooper excited for PP tomorrow night. Got tickets to see the Vines both nights so that’s all set now. Also going to see Great Big Sea again. Right before my boy and I drive up to San Francisco for Coldplay.
Finally saw Road to Perdition. I totally cried. Had such a lump in my throat throughout most of the movie. It was very beautiful to watch and also really got to me. All the actors were incredible. I was kinda puzzled by some events at the end but overall, I found it very compelling and really well-done.
I think I’m dumping my Jude design I did and completely rethinking that… also got started on my concert photos site. I think it might just work. Maybe.
Trying to catch up on all my fanlistings. I got caught up with JRM fans, Take Me Away and Indie Spirit. Worked a bit on Jude fans and Glow, but have lots more to add for both of them. I’m the most behind on Ewan fans. I have over 800 applications to sort through for that one. Man… so behind on everything.

So I’m a nerd. I overslept and missed out on the Coldplay presale by 5 minutes. I went on at 10:05am and it was of course, already sold out. So I’ll have to try on Saturday for tickets now.
Nice to see Marilyn has got her domain back up.
I found out I have a groupie. But seriously, it was very flattering to read those sweet compliments. Thank you SilverHawk.

Dude, the presales for Coldplay’s LA and Vegas shows in September are happening tomorrow. Yeah… I’ve never been to the Joint or seen a show in Vegas and that weekend, Eddie will already be in there for Morrissey. It’s going to be rad. Just as long as I can get tickets of course.
Laura has already posted some shots she took of The Vines last night and they are really cool. The rest are even better. She is not ultra lazy like me who still has gobs of photos to post. Now I figure if I do a site just for my concert photos, I can be a slacker about it even more.
I don’t think I mentioned that I saw Reign of Fire last Friday and really enjoyed it. I’m someone who does not like Matthew McConaughey, but man, this was like his best role ever. He was hilarious.
I didn’t end up going to see the Sneaker Pimps last night. Of course, Eddie went and while waiting in line sees Ewan McGregor drive by in this convertible. He also said the show was awesome. Oh well.
Current viewing tally for AOTC: 8
Currently loving: In My Place by Coldplay

Ah, Zoe did a gorgeous redesign and completely changed the focus of her domain. I love it!
Which reminds me of what I’ve been fiddling with in my brain for months now especially since I got boltofblue.net up. I want to make one domain my site collective/portfolio/web design services domain and keep the other as my personal domain. But I’m just not sure which one… pop-trash is the one everyone knows and it’s the one that all my sites point to and where a lot of them are housed. I think it would be too much work to change all my sites to point to boltofblue and I don’t want to move any of my sites either. Yet… all my concert photos have pop-trash copyrighted on them and I don’t know if I want to move them to boltofblue. I’ve been really unhappy with how I present my concert photos on this site anyways. So I was thinking I could start up a new site for all my concert photos, wallpapers, and art. I would still blog about all my concert experiences but just post the photos seperately. Hmm… that might work. So I could make pop-trash a collective and boltofblue could then be my personal blog. Ah… well… nice ideas but it will of course take quite a bit of work. And I just have so much time for all that. Yeah. And of course, I’m just not sure if that is how I want to set things up either. Hmm…
