From NME:
Damon Albarn: ‘Blur are reforming for rehearsals’
All four band members will reunite in 2009, says singer
Damon Albarn has confirmed that Blur will be reuniting next year.
The singer revealed his old band, including guitarist Graham Coxon, will be working together. Albarn made the comments just before a special one-off performance of his opera ‘Monkey: Journey To The West’ at the BBC Radio Theatre in London this afternoon (November 25).
Before playing a composition that had been specially re-arranged for the stripped-down performance, Albarn was asked by the host Janice Long whether Blur will be playing next year.
“Blur are certainly going to rehearse and see if we’re into it,” he said.
Rumors swirling they might play Coachella next year. OMG! WTF! PLEASE! DYING!

Last Saturday was the march and rally at City Hall. It was an incredible day. Hilarious signs, cheerleaders, awesome friends, Chinese food, blistering hot weather, Lucy Lawless… the march was empowering, emotional, and an experience I’ll never forget.

Lots going on. Good. Bad. Disappointing. Joyful. But it’s all about love in the end my dear friends.

From LA Times:
PROP 8 PROTEST – NOVEMBER 15th 10:30am PST / 1:30pm EST
Plans are afoot to organize protests against Prop. 8 at every major city hall in California Saturday — with the local focus being on L.A. City Hall (which was famous for those huge immigration rallies a few years ago).
Organizers are urging activists from around the country and Canada to converge on California and are hoping for tens of thousands of participants. Last week’s protests slowly grew in size from hundreds on the Westside Thursday to 12,000 on Saturday night in Silver Lake.

Protests are quickly being planned across the country at major city halls. The protest in LA is just getting organized, details are scant. The main idea is to be united across the country on civil rights for all. California is not the only state where the struggle continues. Anyone hear of any additional legit rallies or protests planned?

On the way to work, we saw this beauty in the back of a big rig.
Looks like it could be an original. Might be promotion for the new video game or the 3rd movie that just got green lit. No idea.
So random… so cool. Only in LA!

I try to separate politics from the person but it can be difficult at times. Right now is one of those times. If you voted Yes on Prop. 8, I feel sad for you. And I’m angry with you. You’ve hurt me personally. You’ve hurt my dearest friends in the world. You’ve devastated so many families across this state. Did you really think before you cast this ballot what your vote would actually do?
I’m sick with heartache about Prop 8. I’m filled with rage that a campaign full of lies, discrimination, and hatred actually resonated with half the voters in this state. I often can see the other side in an issue or debate, but not on this. I will NEVER understand or accept how anyone can be against two consenting adults going to a courthouse and getting married just like Remi and I did. I will NEVER accept that it’s okay to treat people as second class citizens because they were born with a different sexual orientation as me.
This is NOT over. Not all votes have been counted and only 400,000 votes separate the two sides. But it’s looking grim. Regardless, this fight is NOT over.
I love this state… I’m a proud Californian, proud Angeleno. But today, I’m so disappointed with 5 million of you. Do we really care more about chickens in this state then our LGBT brothers and sisters!?! CHICKENS?!?
To keep my blood from boiling over, now I’m going to go rewatch Obama’s acceptance speech. Peace.
