I’m slowly working on a new look based off this fabulous template.
I’m also working on editing this blog, which I’ve been writing since February 1999. Woah. That’s 10 years. Time for changes.
This is no longer going to be a personal driven blog as much as it has been. I’ll be sticking to LJ for anyone who wants to keep up with my life in that respect. This blog will focus more on concert reviews, music, traveling, living in Los Angeles, and general photo fun. Give or take a few random posts. And even then, I don’t know that what I’ve just described really fits either. I think my tagline is more appropriate for what I’m aiming for: “photos, concert reviews, and other ramblings from a native Angeleno”.
Expect a lot of old blog posts to disappear and a few gems to stay around. It’s long overdue and I’m excited.
On December 19, 2008, Ken Starr and the Prop 8 Legal Defense Fund filed legal briefs defending the constitutionality of Prop 8 and seeking to nullify the 18,000 same-sex marriages conducted between May and November of 2008 across California.
It’s almost the weekend. And it’s pouring rain outside. I love the rain. Even if it makes LA drivers ridiculous and stupid.
We got into the Franz Ferdinand instore but they didn’t do a signing. It was a long wait but well worth it. They are AWESOME. So much energy, sounded fantastic, and so much FUN. A few photos up on Flickr*. We were too far back and my camera sucks.
*I’m going to try to post up the hundreds of photos I’ve taken over the years from so many concerts, instores, signings, etc. to Flickr as it’s much easier than hosting it all myself anymore… plus I’ve figured out a good way to organize it.
