Who?
Bolt of Blue is written by a gal named Alyse who loves living in Los Angeles, California.
Why?
I’ve been running a version of a personal website on various free hosts and domains since the Spring of 1996. Through the years, this site evolved, changed, moved hosts, and eventually became pop-trash.com. I now run several fansites on a few of my favorite actors, among many other kinds of sites. I wanted a place for my site collective and a separate space for a personal blog. Bolt of Blue was born in July 2004.
BoltofBlue?
One of my favorite New Order songs is ‘Bizarre Love Triangle’. Most people never get the words right, especially the first lines. I liked the sound of ‘bolt of blue’ and thought it would make a good domain name… so that was that.
