My Thanksgiving break can be summed up easily with this one picture…
Quality time with my family and my adorable nephews. They are growing up so fast. Every moment with them I hold on to and appreciate. Lots of much needed relaxing too. I don’t think I checked my email once the entire 4 days off. It was wonderful!
I also got to see NKOTB again, this time at Nokia, where I had INCREDIBLE seats. Just as much fun as the first show at Staples (which I guess I never blogged about). Instead of Lance Bass, Nokia got Nick and Drew Lachey causing a stir. The guys looked and sounded amazing. Brought back happy memories, reminded me I will always love Joe and shouldn’t fight it, and according to my sister-in-law it was the best birthday and Christmas present ever (and a lot for my brother to live up to!) I’m so glad I went to both shows. They were each special experiences that I will treasure and made me feel 14 again. Sigh.

Ugh. The thought of having to camp out for this makes me weary. Plus, I don’t know that I want to meet any of them (or be around the type of fans that will camp out for this). I’ve already met Joe once. And that sufficed. Plus, can the title of their new album be anymore lame?!
That said, I just bought great tickets for their last show of the tour (and I already have tickets to the October Staples show). They changed the venue from Staples to Nokia due to a Clippers scheduling conflict. I’m going with my sister-in-law. It’s the night before Thanksgiving. Not sure I’ll keep the October tickets now as these tickets are so much better.
NKOTB on Today Show this morning. Fans camped out for 2 days to get in. I’m kicking myself that I missed out on the rehearsal for this earlier in the week at the House of Blues on Sunset (not to mention that I missed out on a Jonathan Rhys Meyers premiere last night too – this week has been BAD LUCK all around).
They all look WAY HOT… even Danny for goodness sake! Joe is as cute as ever and singing louder than the others just like always used to do – LOVE IT! They announced full tour dates. I’m tempted to go to more than just the LA show. What is happening to me?!
More videos are up on the Today Show website.
So we still have to wait a few more weeks for them to actually perform on the Today Show (May 16). But yep… new album, new tour, new website, new pandemonium, all over again.
Better version and more on MSNBC. And good lord, Joe is still so freaking cute I can’t stand it. SIGH.

Can’t even begin. Seriously. Joe and Jordan are singing a freaking NEW song together. Never in a million years would have thought possible. My 13 year old self is trying not to cry right now like you would not believe.
Update: Now press reports are saying that Danny is denying this but then maybe not. All I know is the new song proves that something is going on.
Ah, I love Thanksgiving. Not just because of the food, of course there is that, but I love getting together with family and friends and celebrating.
I know this could endanger my life, but I really hope the Backstreet Boys don’t break Nsync’s sales record this week. I can’t stand their new video. They used be kinda fun, though NKOTB will always be better than all those boy bands (and while we are the topic, why are they called ‘bands’ – they aren’t ‘bands’ – they don’t play instruments – they are singing groups!) put together. Now they are so disgusting. They take themselves WAY too seriously and they have really bad hair. Ugh. Not fun.
